India marks a sudden spike in covid-19 cases as India records more than 50 thousand cases on the 5th day in a row. Maharastra solely covering the highest proportion of Covid 19 cases in the country. Today, India marks 53480 Covid 19 cases all over the country whereas 41280 recovered and 354 lost their life. These figures are quite satisfactory because after March 29 (68020 Covid 19 cases) when cases are continuously rising experts believe that it is going to be a second wave and imposing lockdown is the only way left to the government.
According to Health Ministry, India’s total active cases reached 552566 as of March 31. As the cases rise several strict decisions were taken by the state governments like Gujarat government prevented people going to the stadium, Maharastra government puts restrictions on theaters, swimming pools.
These days, several TV and Political personalities tested covid positive. Sachin Tendulkar called to be God of Cricket found Covid Positive whereas Pakistan PM Imran khan also found Covid positive 2 days after he received the first dose of Covid vaccine. Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan, Karthik Aryan, Former PM HD Deve Gowda, and his wife also found Covid 19 Positive.
Educational Institutes also faced a serious impact of Covid 19 as 32 students in Bhawanipatnam’s Private college tested positive whereas in Cuttack 25 students were found infected from the virus. IIM Ahemdabad is also highlighted these days as this institute records 191 cases till date.
According to the Public Health Experts, the ongoing second wave will get more worsen day by day and they also insisted people follow Covid 19 guidelines. ICMR also released their guidelines on this ongoing second wave of Covid 19.
